The call and response of Spirit.
We have been called forth into being. How shall we now respond to that
call?
Each day we awake we have the opportunity to answer that call
differently. Our life has been one long or short ,depending on how you
look at it, conversation with our creator.
As in all good conversations there Is a period of speaking then
slience to either hear a response to a question, comment, idea, or
just to listen. Often times depending on who and how you are, you can
monopolize the conversation. How often do you do that? How long have
you been holding court Just to hear yourself speak. Ask your friends
and they will tell you, if they are honest, just what kind of listener
you are. Check in with yourself, do you listen in anticipation of
being able to get your next point in? Are you always busy doing
something in the middle of a conversation? I think it's called
multitasking. Do you only partly pay attention bored easily of the
conversation. Is there always something more important to do?
In order for us to listen, really listen we must practice the art of
intrigue. What intrigues you? How interested in the other can you
become? We must learn to become rivited to the dialog so intensley it
becomes the next reality tv, cause in fact it is. It is in reality
your script for life. Spirit who sits on the other line of this
Divinely appointed conversation has lots to say and plenty of ideas,
information, encouragement and caring to impart if only we'd listen.
This is our internal guidance system.
How many times have you written down directions to a place only to get
it only half right because you were only sorta paying attention? Now
with the age oh GPS's you may think you can totally tune out. You can
not! God is your internal GPS. When you do not pay attention or follow
directions even the GPS can not help you.
So today I ask you how shall you respond to this call? It is a call
to greatness! A call to live life to Gods fullest potential for you
and as you.
How will you heed the directions. What still quiet space of time will
you carve out to hear your prayers answered?
When will you become silent. Still as the night, and allow the Spirit
to move through you, flowing in your limbs as grace, your body as
health, your mind as a wealth of ideas, you smile as kindness to
youself and others, your finances as a giving nature, sharing all that
you have knowing that the Universe prospers you.
Step up to the phone of life and answer the call! Say "Yes". Try it.
The next time you pick up the phone say "yes " with a smile on your
face that's audible to your inner being. Challenge yourself to say yes
to the next invitation that comes your way, the next opportunity to
serve. Take time out each and everyday to listen to the Spirit,
source, creator, God, really listen for the answers to the questions
you've been asking about, so that you may wholy respond to the call of
life. Your Divine appointment awaits.
