The act of Cyber bulling is as real as being bullied in person. This fact became apparent to me after having a “friendly” banter on the Internet between friends I went to high school with. What started off as a joke quickly took on the feeling of being more serious. I am a grown woman and I was feeling the intimidation of being bullied. I think we all reverted back into our energetic patterns of our childhood and this energy was transferred into the conversation. I am aware now that the words we use either in print or verbally carry energy and that energy is palpable whether we are aware of it or not. With this awareness the fact that children are inundated with words that assault their precious and fragile self esteem is more than sad it is an abomination to the spirit. At my age and with my years of experience I felt the pressure of this imagined threat very clearly. How much more and how much deeper must the children feel?
I am grateful for this lesson. I am grateful to have experienced it as a lesson to help me connect with and understand what happens to some children on a daily basis. My heart goes out to them. I pray for them and for the families that they become aware of what their children are going through. Sticks and stones do break bones and words hurt just the same.
My Prayer for the Children
Beloved Spirit, highest and most holy self come forth in every interaction to work in the children and for the children, heal the pain and fear that brings the bully to the fore front of expression open the hearts of both parties so that they may have a “face off” with love. Let the face of the bully come off and the face of the fear come off and the face of love come forward.
Divine Angels who have been assigned to each child, surround and protect them both. Protect the bully from his/her own self hatred and fear. Protect the bullied from the verbal assaults upon their spirit. Send your healing light and love to surround the situation and allow healing to happen on behalf of love.
This is my prayer for the child in us all.
