Let go, Let go, Let go.....and its GONE!

If you’re on this earth at this time chances are you are on a Spiritual path. This spiritual path isn’t a passive path to be on. It is an active path. It is a path of compassion, of love, of forgiveness. It is a path of consciousness. It is a path of conscious action and this comes with every step we take, every breath we take and every thought we think. Today I am consciously choosing, as a Minister of Spiritual Consciousness to address the state of consciousness that I see in some of my constituents in the world of wellness. Wellness starts in the mind and from there it trickles down into our actions, words and experiences. I distribute Young Living Oils® and as a distributer of these oils I am in the business of wellness. I am in the Spirit of Joy, Faith, and Forgiveness which are some of the great essentials oils that Young Living® produces. As such I am openly addressing the arrogance and piety that is sometimes displayed when the mention of doTERRA® oils comes up.

My friend is a doTERRA® distributer and user. She is a remarkable being of light and a fierce presence in the community of Spiritual Development. She is actively participating in the evolution of spiritual Consciousness in humanity by consciously participating in her spiritual evolution through practices that involve deeply being self aware and accountable for her thoughts, actions and speech and how it effects the fabric of humanity al large. When I see and hear the implications of “what kind of people” are using doTERRA®I am completely baffled. I don’t know what happened between Gary Young and Robert Young. It’s all hearsay to me because I wan’t there. What I do know is that those of us who distribute the oils from the respective companies are well-meaning individuals with a commitment to wellness at the foundation of our desires, and as we share what we love our sharing is done in the spirit of that love.

We are entering into 2018 and it is time to lay the gauntlet down and work with love and forgiveness as the foundation of our being and not our doing. What I know about the oils I distribute and the person who created it based solely on one specific product, “The Ancient Oils of Scripture.” How I perceive a person who has developed oils based on scriptures in the Bible and using words like Believe, Forgiveness, Acceptance, Faith, is that this person would be a person who believed in the tenants of what he has developed and the basis on which those oils were named after. He must practice Faith, he must practice Forgiveness, and Acceptance. It is time that we, the people who distribute these products also embody to heart those beliefs as well. I say let bygones be bygones and lay down the burdens, cares and resentment, arrogance and snobbery. There is enough in this world for everyone. The whole element of competition is false and self-generated by fear, the fear of not enough.
Let 2018 be the year that you live this mantra, “I am abundant, I am free, There is enough for you and for me.” Since it all begins in the mind, as Divine Mind and back of all things, as us, there is always enough. I am enough.  You are enough. There is enough for the both of us.

In 2018  I am Inspired to Live My Passion and Build My Dreams, in the field of possibility, that abundance is available to me and to everyone else according to our conscious acceptance of it. I believe in peace and good will towards all is possible and that Consciousness is elevated in every conscious action, conscious thought and conscious word towards that end, and as such we are effecting the very web of creation until we are all realized as connected and directed by the One presence back of all things, that which has created us in His/Her name. In the book “Love without Conditions” Reflections of the Christ Mind written by Paul Ferrini it says “to teach right, make right.” Again, I don’t know what happened. I do know that now they Young Living® and Doterra® both exist and that there is enough room on this sweet earth for both and the matter between the creators isn’t ours to hold like school kids picking sides. It is ours to Love without Conditions and practice Acceptance with Joy and love.

As we leave behind a very challenging 2017, look into your heart and see what thoughts you are holding against someone? Are you still squabbling over the family rivalry from 1963 or 1816? Are you still holding onto what happened last year or the year before between you and another one? If you are I invite you to lay down your arms. throw in the towel and let bygones be bygones. What we ask of our country we must first ask of ourselves. Let go… Let go… Let go….. and its gone.

Blessings into the new year my dears!

Developing the Compassionate Heart

Developing a Compassionate Heart

getting ready for the holiday season

As a spiritual mentor and New Thought teacher it is important to always be on the lookout for new awarenesses and inspirations. Very likely none of us has to go far to find it when we practice self awareness and introspection. The home, our family of origin and our intimate relationships are a rich source of fertile soil for the breeding ground of healing, revealing and spiritual insights and awarenesses. The more we grow spiritually the deeper the understanding of certain principles are. Compassion is a spiritual principle. Compassion means to walk upon the earth or within the world in such a way that it does not cause another beings unhappiness. I have always understood this and yet in the back of my mind the meaning has taken on a new perspective. In New Thought we teach that people create their own reality and it isn’t “really” us causing another persons unhappiness. This is a fact. Most often it is the persons perspective of what is being shared or said that creates a feeling of unhappiness. I came to an awareness that I have used this as a spiritual bypass, a walking stick I used as a crutch. I wasn’t consciously aware of it. It was like an extra finger or toe that I could sometimes hide with a sock or explain away. This morning it hit me. As I sat with a tightening in my womb, a physical pain. My sacral Chakra was wound up like a cobra or rattle snake waiting to strike.
Compassion KiMani………Compassion means to walk upon the earth or within the world in such a way that it does not contribute to another beings unhappiness. No sooner than a second did the uncoiling of the cobras head move up like the Kundalini rising, another awareness showed up. I  was in an internal conflict because compassion meant I had to “BE” a certain way and at my deepest heart I am a free spirit. I detest being controlled. Unconsciously it looked like I was losing my freedom to be me. I felt the conflict like a tug of war on my Spirit and more Truth glowed like a red hot coal. I was holding the rope. The me that was the petulant child, the teenager who just wanted to have fun, or the twenty year old who thought she was grown just because she left home and the me that was wearing this beautiful white tunic, who is a spiritual leader, teacher and mentor, tethered to the Soul, tethered to the ONE. And my tears rolled down my face and the dam broke open to a greater capacity to love. A deepening of love for myself, the wounded child who felt the need to protect herself growing up as a sensitive soul in this big ol’ world among others who had lost their sense of sensitivity. A deepening of love for others and an ability to sit with their pain without running away, explaining it away or chasing it away. I opened to a new level of Love. Developing a compassionate heart takes courage and a willingness to reflect, allow and surrender to a deepening of the understandings of life.
Compassion commands us to grow beyond the comfort zones of our own walls and touch the borders of what true humanity means. Compassion means to walk upon the earth or within the world in such a way that it does not add to another beings unhappiness. So today, develop a compassionate heart, let this writing  supply an anchor to the Truth
“Let each disciple tether is so to the compassionate heart and daily define his mission to be first and foremost centered and that hold purging the old order and building the new…….. Let the tenderness of your Heart increase. Purify the heart and the heart chakra. Expand love! Give love! And see how your love joy with others will establish the foundation of the age of Aquarius……….
-Saint Germain 3-23-96, PoW Vol. 39 No.32, pp. 176-177
The name of I AM THAT I AM, I tether my soul to the compassionate heart and daily define my mission to  be first and foremost centered in that Heart.
I seek and find within myself the fount of everlasting compassion. I am joined by spiritual builders who direct the beginning and ending of civilizations.
In the name os Saint Germain, let the tenderness of my heart increase. Purify my heart and my heart Chakra. Expand my love that I may give love and that my love, joined with the love of others, will establish the foundation of the age of Aquarius”
©1996-97 Church Universal and Truth Inc.

As women we hold pain in our wombs and the hurt stacks upon one another waiting to strike out at the least provocation that causes us to grow beyond its borders. I got quiet, I listened to the pain, not the words that it can usually create as a defense mechanism. I listened from the crown of my head where the Truth of awareness sits. I listened with my brow Chakra where the seat of my soul consciousness sits and I felt my heart contract then expand and the light from within showed up. Like a movie reel floating across the screen of my mind softly the words melodically echoed.

I AM WHOLE

Yesterday I had to be reminded by a woman I consider powerful and dynamic that what she saw in me is the same. I had to be reminded of my power, and value and worth. I had been having a bad “day”. The other day I have found out something about myself that I am in complete judgment about. I told her that “I am f**ked up”. What she said to me was that “I am not f**ked up. I have f**ked up days.”

Those words were exactly what I needed to hear. I have been going around making my whole life to be f**ked up when this was just a moment in my whole life. I realize I have done this often and Iyanla say’s if you do it anywhere you do it everywhere. I have often made everything bad when one “bad” thing happens as well as everything good when one “good” thing happens. I am especially prone to this particular style of thinking, the creating a duality, the either or complex, because I am a Gemini and we are the twins. My whole life I have been able to see both sides to every situation. Needless to say it has caused me great challenges in making decisions.  I see now that I have been living an either or life when truly there is room for both. I see now how creating an either or vision of the world has caused me great pain. I have taken a wonderful gift and used it against myself. I have sinned. The gift of duality is the gift of polarity and in the understanding and accepting both as one I find my balance I have been searching for. I think about the “coin”. It has two sides. Neither side is better than the other yet when you look at it for what it is, it doesn’t matter which side is up it’s still a coin. The coin is also likened to our life and how we spend it will depend on its value and worth. We are the only ones who can determine that. All of this is a lesson to accept myself exactly as I am in any moment. Not suspending judgment, giving it up all together; laying down my sword and shield and finding my innocence right where I am and in that moment recognizing that “In my defenselessness my safety lies”. (ACIM Lesson 153)

So I ask you too to look at how you judge yourself and in finding judgment you break off a piece of your own self-worth and diminish your value? How, in accepting yourself, the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful you can you have a richer more fulfilling life? How does, how you show up for yourself accepting you exactly the way you are open the door to accepting others exactly as they are?  What are the possibilities of laying down the sword of judgment and the shield of defensiveness? Perhaps this is the weapon of mass destruction we should all be looking for. This weapon is the destructiveness that keeps brother pitted against brother and sister against sister. It is the weapon that makes war and destroys the value of the being which causes the rotting stench of doubt and insecurity to rise like gangrene in the spirit and pollutes the love that is already there. STOP the violence of self-hate in any form and let love be the healing salve that mends the hearts back to its original form, whole.

Prayer:
My Great God Presence above and within me, My Beloved I AM presence
I acknowledge that right where I am you are and where you are all is well.
I acknowledge that in me exist a duality of the Divine feminine and Divine Masculine.
I acknowledge in me there is a duality of that which I find acceptable and that which I judge as not
I admit that this vision is a construct of my humanity and that in my divine state I see its wholeness. Today I accept my whole being and fill the holes with unconditional love and self-acceptance. Today I accept that when I separate myself from you I am frightened and I can only see my fear. Today I accept that as I cleave to your bosom I find the nourishment and comfort to be able to see through the duality into the truth… I AM Whole prefect and complete in every aspect of my being.
I release the need to separate myself from you and I become fused in me as I AM one with all…. The Creator and the created.

In this moment I give thanks and surrender the process of this continued unfolding to you. Amen and Ashe’

Silence Speaks Volumes

Yesterday I spent the day in silence. I didn’t stay home in isolation. I went out into the world to observe the world through silence. I found it most interesting. First, I noticed my resistance to the experience and all the excuses my mind tried to make up to keep me in fear of it. How would I look? What would people say? Etc. etc. etc… Many things happened. One thing I found very alarming in which I’d like to address. I am confessing my sins because confession is good for the soul. Wayne Muller writes of confession,
An ancient definition of the word confess, is “to declare or reveal one’s identity.” To confess is to share one’s whole self, to declare both good and bad, what is seen in public and what is hidden in private. Not so that we may be punished, but rather so we may cleanse our hearts, set free what has been shamefully imprisoned…….. Only when we honestly confess the whole truth of who we are can we receive honest love in return. Otherwise we can never feel truly and completely seen and loved.” (Wayne Muller Learning to Pray 97)
I confess now to free my heart and mind so that I may be free of thoughts that pollute my being and corrupt humanity. I confess so that I am seen, I am loved, I am free.
I confess I found my inner self to be quite vocal; when I finally quieted down the loud protests of my inner child other small, still quiet voices emerged. They were subtle yet deadly. What I heard were comments of judgments and prejudices that I thought I had long ago left behind or never had. The comments about weight and race and class startled me. I silently looked at the comments and heard them voiced in my mind realizing that they were probably said before but I had been so busy not paying attention to me that I never heard them. This was an opportunity for healing, for finding and acknowledging any thoughts that lay hidden and are now up and on the floor of my conscious mind to be cleaned up and cleared out. I am grateful. It is these types of unconscious thoughts that cause sickness and dis-ease in the fabric of society. These are the thoughts that poison our collective consciousness. They must be exposed and eradicated. I must heal them within my own self. My healing effects everyone because we are “that”connected. We are all connected in a web of energy that makes up the fabric of society so we each must do our own work to find the places were prejudices and judgments still exist within us and take the first step in healing them. Awareness is the first step, and then we must admit what it is we feel taking full ownership, without excuse or reasoning. It doesn’t matter why we feel the way we feel. Delving into the why’s is the ego’s way of holding on and passing the buck of blame. It walks us into the delusion of justification which perpetuates the disease. We are the ones with the feeling so it is up to us to do the healing. Once we’ve become aware and admitted we must practice forgiveness. Forgiveness leads to healing that place where the wound is that caused the hurt that created the thought that eats away at our connection to one another. What I know to be true is that, that forgiveness must come full circle because we cannot feel one way about another that we are not in some way feeling about ourselves. It is an impossibility. We are never free from the judgment we judge with. Dig deep and you will find a similar connection so the healing and forgiveness must be on both ends.
So today I practice self-forgiveness:
I forgive myself for thinking ill of people with larger sizes.
I forgive myself for thinking ill of myself when I am larger in size.
I forgive myself for judging others based on race and perceived economic status.
I forgive myself for judging myself as better based on my economic status.
I forgive myself for judging others as better than me based on their economic statuses.
I forgive myself for thinking I am any better than my brothers and sisters of humanity.
I forgive myself for thinking that anyone else is better than me.
I ask for and receive unconditional love for myself so that I may extend this love to others.
I ask for and receive self-acceptance so that I am able to extend these acceptances to others.
I acknowledge my connection to all humanity. I accept my connection to all humanity. May all sentient beings be blessed. May I be blessed . May my healing be total, may my healing be effortless. May my healing be complete. So be it and so it is. AMEN.

Crossing the Line

Sometimes we cross the line with people. We may say something out of turn or inappropriate causing the conversation to feel immediately uncomfortable. The easiest way to cross back to the appropriate side of the line is to immediately recognize your mistake, leave the guilt behind and offer an apology. Handling it in this manner builds self confidence, creditability and respect. How can we do this in matters of LOVE?

When we cross the line in love we move from love to hate. I often ask myself how is it we can be so in love one day and so in hate the next. Love does not work that way. Egos do. When we cross the line in love the same rules apply. The easiest way to come back to love is to immediately recognize that you are standing on the wrong side of the line, leave the anger and blame behind and offer an apology to yourself for forgetting that you were once in love with this person and they once were in love with you. Remembering that even though you may no longer be in love with them that the love you felt with them was the love you already had inside and it is still there. With that realization you can “Cross the line” and step back into love.

Thought for Today:
I acknowledge that sometimes I act out of pain instead of acting out of love.

Today’s Affirmation:
I choose today to stand on loves side of the line. I stand in love for Love!

Equality

In a world where people struggle to assert their individuality, pressing against the grain to maintain a sense of uniqueness it is often very difficult to see and embrace equality. How can we really be equal when some people are tall while others are short, some are rich while others are poor, some are black and others white the differences go on and on. Where is the equality? When we are looking with our physical eyes we are prone to only see things through the physical senses. Our physical eyes are limited to seeing in this manner and the physical sense is a limited one. In “REALITY” our physical senses are here to help us see the gross exaggerated differences that must be healed and awaken us to our Divine-selves. We have the gift to see beyond personality and prejudices. We can see beyond skin color, age, socioeconomic status and into the Spirit of the ( Hu)man. How do we do this? We must first recognize the Divinity within ourselves. This can be a difficult endeavor because we are in judgment of ourselves more than we realize. We often think we are judging the behavior of others as good or bad or worthy or not when what we are truly judging is our self as it is related to what we perceive another’s behavior to be. When we can see the behavior (awareness) and realize where we do it in our lives (acknowledgement) then own it as our own (acceptance) only then can the healing happen to help us move into forgiveness. Once we learn to forgive ourselves we can see that we are divine despite our human frailties. This awareness allows us to see beyond the limited perception of our human eyes and through the eyes of our Divinity. Through those eyes we shall see our equality.

Thought For Today:
The attributes and powers I assign to divine human beings I have also, when I allow my divinity to come forth. No one is special we all are equal in the eyes of God.

Today’s Affirmation:
I am willing to allow my Divinity to spring forth. I relinquish control to the Christ Mind I AM.

I Forgive Myself

Today I came across a journal entry dated February 28,2009. It was a letter to a childhood friend blaming her for all the things I felt because of the decision she made to tell my mother the fact that I had sex. It is a letter giving her control and responsibility over me which is simply not true. Today I choose to(rewrite the letter) re-frame my experience from a place of empowerment instead of the victim I erroneously thought myself to be. What is amazing to me is Spirit, directing me to this entry less than 24hrs of writing yesterdays blog. It was in a small spiral notebook tucked away on a shelf on one of the five book shelves I own. Can you see how NOT random this is

Dear Beloved,

Thank you for preparing me to experience change in my life. Thank you for caring about me enough to show me how to speak up when I would loose my voice. Thank you showing me how I would betray myself in the years to come. Thank you for being a willing participant in the dance of my life that led me to uncover how honesty, openness, truth and self expression would be important factor in my spiritual growth. I had made up a horror story of how you betrayed me and how because of this I could not trust anyone, and that I had to hide my secrets because they were not safe to be shared. The truth is everything done in secret must come to the light. The truth is you were acting from your own story, ideas and beliefs and I accept that now. I made up that I had to close my heart to friendship. The truth is I had to learn friendship starts within. I have learned that everything I blamed you for was my own experience and today I forgive myself for ever believing you had that much power over me and in my life and I ask your forgiveness for trying to give you a responsibility that was not your to have.

Though For Today

We are the only being responsible for how we experience anything. Some experiences are hard while others are easy. This distinction creates the link for chains of blame and judgement that keep us in bondage. Forgiveness is the key to open the chains and set me free. Forgiveness like truth is a spiritual principle.

Today's Affirmation:

I forgive myself of all perceived inadequacies and judgements. I lay no blame on anyone at any time. I am in the hands of God and I am secure in this knowing. I accept every experience as a blessed opportunity for correction. "I accept every experience as an opportunity to embrace truth and reject illusion" (Paul Ferrini "Love without Conditions" pg.32)
